JL-216 NEMA Interface Overview:
The JL-216 series of photocontrols is suited for the automatic regulation of street, garden, corridor, and entrance lighting, aligning with the outdoor light levels and featuring an energy-saving function at daybreak. These devices incorporate microprocessor-based circuits with an IR-filtered phototransistor and are equipped with a surge arrester (MOV) for protection. They also include a pre-set time delay of 5-20 seconds to prevent unnecessary activation from headlights or nighttime lightning. The long-life version ensures stable and dependable performance, with the relay capable of over 10,000 operating cycles. Additionally, the installation of a double-layer protective shell can extend the operational life of the JL-216. The product is fitted with twist-lock terminals that adhere to ANSI C136.10 standards and the ANSI/UL773 specification for plug-in, locking type photocontrols used in area lighting.
